Ankita Lokhande is an Indian television actress who is best known for her role of Archana in the daily soap Pavitra Rishta which aired on Zee TV. She made her television debut with Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj (Season 1) which was a popular talent-hunt show. She was one of the participant in the show.
Biography
Ankita Lokhande was born on 19 December 1984 in Indore into a Maharashtrian family. In 2008, she was chosen to play the female lead in NDTV Imagine's Bali Umar Ko Salaam opposite Jay Soni but due to some unknown reasons, the show never went on air. Ankita came into limelight for her role of Archana in the daily soap Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV.
Television come back
As per the reports, Ankita Lokhande is all set to make her come back to Television. Sources confirmed that, she has been roped in Ekta Kapoor's next on Star Plus which is going to be a family drama. The show has been tentatively titled as "Yeh Mera Pyaar". Along with Ankita Lokhande, the makers have roped in Mahabharat fame Arpit Ranka to play a pivotal role in the show.
