Manchester United senior players have sounded out their Chelsea counterparts about life under Jose Mourinho.
The Sun says at least two senior United players sounded out pals and international team-mates over why Mourinho was axed.
United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is considering his next move after a rollercoaster season under boss Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho is being considered but club chiefs will make full checks on whether he is the right man.
He last week said “that’s the $1million question” when asked if he would be at United next season.
